Nine persons were arrested for holding prayers in a mosque after violating lockdown restrictions in Kunnamkulam. The prayers were held at the Ayamukku Juma Masjid in Kunnamkulam, Kerala Kaumudi reported.
According to media reports, seven people managed to escape from there. The prayers were held in the mosque last night. Though the police reached on receiving the information, seven fled from there. The police had obtained information that prayers are held in worship places in nearby areas. Police said strict action would be taken.
