Unidentified person beheads statue of Jesus Christ in the USA

In Florida, the State of USA, some unidentified person beheaded statue of Jesus Christ in the courtyard of a South Florida Church. Miami-Dade Police and the Department of Homeland Security are investigating the act of vandalism.

According to the report, the Jesus statue was destroyed between Tuesday (July 14) night and Wednesday in the courtyard of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in West Kendall.
 
While talking to the media, Mary Ross Agosta, a spokeswoman for the Archdiocese of Miami said, "This is an attack on the church. This is not only private property, it is sacred property."
 
"Someone did this intentionally," she added.
 
The statue's head was found on the ground just before 8 a.m. on Wednesday, she said.

The attacks on Catholic churches in the USA have been a rise since the death incidence of George Floyd. The incidence gave birth to a campaign called 'Black Live Matters'. Significant Americans, along with people in other countries, have actively participated in the campaign.
 
According to the report, on June 26, 2020, an activist of the movement 'Black Lives Matter' former pastor Shaun King called for the demolition of the statues of Jesus Christ in the United States. The reason for the request of the collapse of the monuments is that the sculptors have depicted the Central figure of Christianity whites.
