The name of the agency is the Union of Catholic Asian News. According to the agency, it is Asia's largest network of Catholic journalists and editors.
Regarding Indian National Congress's (INC) stand, the article stated, "The INC and other opposition parties have so far remained silent on the temple construction itself. They know that opposing the temple after a favorable judgement from the Supreme Court would be problematic."
The article also explains the silence of INC on Ram temple’s foundation stone-laying ceremony. The author said that the INC is facing a dilemma after often being described as an "anti-Hindu party." Hindu groups accuse it of projecting a secular image by largely depending on Hindu votes and appeasing Muslims.
In the end, the author claimed that the PM Modi's participation in Ram temple's foundation stone-laying ceremony is the long-term strategy for national elections due in 2024.
