Fifty Muslim families return to Hinduism in Rajasthan on the day of Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan ceremony

On the day of foundation stone laying ceremony of historic Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, fifty Muslim families with an individual count of around 250 have returned to Hindu Dharma.

According to the report, the families, with the support of their village panchayat, organized Vedic rituals and reverted back to Hindu Dharma after centuries of remaining in a faith which was shoved down the throats of their ancestors by force. All the families who embraced Hindu Dharma said that their ancestors were forcefully converted to Islam during the rule of the unparalleled Mughal tyrant – Aurungzeb. The males of the village even wore the Janeu.
Revealing the wish of the entire village wants to return to the original faith, a Muslim-turned-Hindu said, "But we belong to Hinduism. That is why Muslims keep the distance from us. After getting the information of history, we saw that we are Hindus and we should go back to Hinduism. Our customs are related to the entire Hindu religion."
On April 21, 2020, six Muslim families had returned to Hindu Dharma. A family member Ramesh was said that Hindus were being persecuted during the time of Aurangzeb, the Muslim emperor. My ancestors were Hindus at that time but fed up with the atrocities of Aurangzeb; they converted to Islam.
On May 8, 2020, about 250 members of 40 Muslim families from Bidhmira village in Haryana's Hisar district had returned to Hinduism. A Muslim turned Hindu named Satbir claimed that he was from Doom caste and has heard of his Hindu ancestors embracing Muslim under pressure during the time Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. Another returned youth Majid said, "Now many people are educated, and they have convinced everyone to do this (change religion). It is only when we bury our dead that the villagers looked at us differently. Therefore, looking at the future of children, we decided to convert."
