In Thrissur district of Kerala, famous Lord Krishna temple located in Guruvayur town has been opened for devotees. The temple administration has made arrangements in the wake of Coronavirus pandemic according to the guidelines provided by Central Government.
According to the report, the temple authorities have started allowing darshan for 1,000 people after registeration through the online portal. The temple will remain open from 9.30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 5 PM to 6 PM. The temple also has permission to conduct 60 weddings per day.
Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple is an ancient Hindu temple. It is believed that the temple is 5000 years old. It is one of the most important places of worship for Hindus in Kerala. The temple is managed by a special Devaswom (Guruvayur Devaswom) under the control of the Government of Kerala.
