ISKCON Bhubaneswar Temple reopened for devotees

International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Bhubaneswar Temple reopened for devotees after being closed for more than nine months due to Coronavirus forced lockdown in Odisha.

It is the 108th and last temple project of Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada which was completed and inaugurated in 1991. As instructed by Srila Prabhupada, Gour Govinda Swami installed Sri Gaur Nitai, Krishna Balaram and Jagannath, Baladeva, Subhadra Devi on three altars and named the Temple Sri Krishna Balaram Temple.
ISKCON is the Hindu organization founded in 1966 in New York City by A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Its core beliefs are based on the Vedic scriptures, particularly the Bhagavad Gita and the Bhagavata Purana.
