Muslims in India distribute sweets after death of artists Lars Vilks

Muslims in India distributed sweets among the community after the news of the death of Swedish artist Lars Vilks went viral. The artist had lived under police protection since his 2007 sketch of the Prophet Muhammad with a dog's body brought death threats, died in a traffic accident on October 3, Swedish news media reported.

Mumbai based Raza Academy President Saeed Noori Sahab said that he is happy that Lars Vilks has died. He said that Lars Vilks was attacked twice by unidentified men. In 2010, miscreants had torched Lars Vilks's home, but he was not inside then. In 2015 again, he was shot during a party in Denmark, he said.
