Over 1500 Indian pilgrims to visit Kartarpur Corridor on the occasion of Guru Nanak Gurpurab

New Delhi, Nov 12: In light of the sentiments associated with the religious festival, 1500 Indian pilgrims will soon visit Pakistan in view of the upcoming occasion of Guru Nanak Gurpurab. The Ministry of External Affairs said that from November 17 to 26, the pilgrims will visit the bordering nations through Atari-Wagah Integrated Check Post.
Over 1500 Indian pilgrims 
This is as per the 1974 bilateral protocol between India and Pakistan on Visits to Religious Shrines. Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi during a media briefing said that it has been decided that a ‘jatha’ of around 1500 pilgrims will visit Pakistan from November 17-26 as per the 1974 Protocol on Visits to Religious Shrines b/w India-Pakistan".
