After the selective killings of Kashmiri Pandits by Islamic terrorists in Kashmir, the minority Hindu Kashmiri Pandit employees have demanded additional provisions for their safety. The Kashmiri Pandits have been under fear since the killings of four minority Hindus in three days in October 2021.

Although the heavy deployment of armed forces, the minority Hindus have demanded additional safety provisions in J&K. They have asked for regular security audit and transit camps housing Kashmiri Pandit employees.
 
It has been reported that many Kashmiri Pandit families were seen leaving Sheikhpora, a locality that was exclusively established in the Budgam district in 2003 to bring back and rehabilitate the Pandits.
