Jamate-E-Islami, a political party of Pakistan launched ‘Istehkam-e-Khandan’ campaign (Protection of Family Institution) for women. Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Siraj-ul-Haq announced the campaign and published the video on Twitter. Campaign will continue up to March 11.
The month-long campaign will feature rallies and conferences to mobilise the public against the promotion of secular values and un-Islamic practices. Siraj-ul-Haq demanded the Government to imposed ban dowry and other un-Islamic and unconstitutional practices tarnishing Pakistan society.
He said, “The role of woman in the family is a key role. When a woman is safe, the family is strong. Only a strong and stable family can create a better society.”
