Ayodhya's Ram Lalla dons designer Khadi silk on Vasant Panchami

Lucknow, February 16: On the auspicious occasion of the Vasant Panchami, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered the yellow color khadi silk outfits to the Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. Following that Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughan, and Lord Hanuman were donned with the yellow color khadi silk that depicts the color of ‘Vasant Panchami’.
The outfits are designed by fashion designer Manish Tripathi in the collaboration with UP Khadi and Village Industries Board. It was designed under the Project Ramlala initiative which encourages the use of khadi in our daily life and propagating the use of the fabric. Tripathi has designed the Angvstram in six different colors.
