Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju inaugurated a three-day International Conference on ‘Buddhist Philosophy and its Role in Inculcating Values Among Youth’. He was also the Chief Guest of the event. The event will be taking place from February 17 to 19. It is being jointly organized by the Indian Council For Cultural Relations and Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development.
The objective is to discuss the various dimensions of Buddhist Philosophy and its culture and give an overview of Buddhist literature and architecture available across the countries. Apart from this, to share the experiences of best practices of Buddhist Philosophy inculcating the values among the youth.
