The administration has also started a three-tier blockade to prevent any devotee from entering Pandharpur city and the traffic police have started to send back the vehicles that have approached the temple for darshan.
The district administration has imposed the first blockade at Solapur district boundary and the second blockade has been imposed at the Pandharpur taluka boundary. Besides, the devotees who promise to take distant darshan of the temple and not enter the premises are only being allowed to enter the taluka, that too with a well-maintained record of the mobile numbers of the devotees who are to return immediately, so that they can be tracked later in case of emergency.
