Buddhist temple in LA vandalized

Los Angeles, Mar 1: A man jumped the security fences and vandalized a Buddhist temple in the Little Tokyo section of downtown Los Angeles. Metal lanterns were knocked down at the entrance of Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple.
Surveillance video caught a man jumping the security fences on Thursday night, smashing a 12-foot high glass window with a rock, yanking a pair of metallic lanterns off concrete bases, and lighting two wooden lanterns. Investigating authorities say it is too early to call it a hate crime.
