Fearing the expected Lockdown, Bhakts crowd Trimbakeshwar temple

Nashik, Feb 27: Due to increase in COVID 19 cases and thus an expected lockdown, a sudden rise in the number of devotees coming to Trimbakeshwar has been observed in the last week. This has resulted into a serious problem for the Lodging businesses as well, which is why they are needed to take extra care and maintain the precautions necessary to control the spread of COVID 19.
Fearing the expected Lock
In order to put a control on it, Trimbakeshwar Police have been alerted about the rising corona numbers and cases are being filed if found without masks, in or around the temple premises. Besides, the district administration has warned of strict action over incidents of crowd accumulation. Mainly, devotees have been requested to not crowd the temple due to the fear of an expected lockdown, which is currently not planned but people's actions triggered because of the fear might actually make it necessary to impose lockdown in the district.
