Muslim's money cannot be spent on building Hindu temples, says Jamaat-e-Islami

During a press conference in Pakistan, Muslim cleric Sirajul Haq said that the money of a Muslim citizen cannot be spent on the construction of Hindu temples. Sirajul Haq is a chief of Jamaat-e-Islami of Pakistan.

Journalist Naila Inayat published a part of a video of a press conference of Sirajul Haq on her social media profile. In this press conference, Sirajul Haq said that Hindus can collect money for the temple space and its construction. However, the Muslim's money cannot be spent on building Hindu temples. Muslim's money should be spent according to their wish, he added.

Siraj ul Haq is a Pakistani politician who was elected as the chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, a religious political party in Pakistan that seeks to establish an Islamic legal system. He also served as the senior minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
