The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has decided to allow only 15,000 devotees a day for darshan at the hill temple from May 1. Amid a rise in Coronavirus pandemic across the country, TTD has decided to decrease the daily count.
Before the pandemic, around 1 lakh devotees were visiting the temple. Presently 30,000 devotees are being allowed for daily darshan. But due to a spike in the cases, the number will further shrink down to 15,000 devotees a day from May 1.
