Priest opens doors of Latu Devta in Uttarakhand

Dehradun, April 27: On the occasion of the Chaitra Purnima, the priest opened the doors of Latu Devta temple for devotees on Monday at 2.05 pm. The door opening ceremony of the Chamoli-based shrine was also attended by tourism minister Satpal Maharaj.

According to Krishna Singh Bisht, president of Latu Devta and Maa Nanda Devi Temple Committee, the temple will remain open for six months but no one will be allowed to enter the temple’s main sanctum.
