Islamic organization urges Muslims to support Palestinians with money, men and weapons

The Middle East Media Research Institute’s Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor (MEMRI-JTTM) claimed that Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) urged worldwide Muslims to support Palestinians with money, manpower and weapons. The media of AQIM, Al-Andalus, released an audio statement of its leader, Abu Ubaydah Yusuf al-Anabi, in which he also condemned France for its involvement in Mali and accused the country of having hostility towards the prophet Muhammad.

He praised Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, saying “it has become clear once again that the only road leading to the liberation of Al-Aqsa mosque and all the occupied territories is through jihad and martyrdom for the sake of Allah—not through negotiations and political solutions, Cleveland Jewish News reported.
According to the report, Anabi also called on Muslims—particularly, scholars, experts, soldiers, businessmen, doctors and other professionals—to fulfill their Islamic duty towards their Muslim brothers and sacred Palestinian holy sites.
“Supply them with funds, men, weapons, equipment, expertise and everything required for warfare and military revolution,” he said, “as waging jihad in Palestine is a mandatory duty for every Muslim,” Anabi said.
So far, several Indian Muslims have joined Islamic organizations which are banned around the world. As per National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) report, most of them are from Kerala State. According to the report, some of them have been killed in the terrorist attack posing as suicide bombers, while some of them have been killed by the security forces of the respective countries.
