INTACH survey team discovers centuries-old post-Gupta-era temple near Pipili

Bhubaneswar, July 21: A survey team of the Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage (INTACH) has discovered the ruins of an ancient temple that may date back to the 6th-7th century Common Era (CE).

The team also believes that it is among one of the very earliest temples of the post-Gupta era. A four-member survey team of the INTACH documented the ancient site at Biropurusottampur in the Pipili area, around 40 km north of Puri city.
