In the Pataudi town of Haryana, local Hindus organized a 'Mahapanchayat' to tackle religious conversion issues. After experiencing a rise in cases of forced conversions, local Hindus gathered to address the issue. Around 500 people attended the meeting.
After the knowledge, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Manesar, deployed more police to the town. DCP said that heads of 3-4 villages organized a Mahapanchayat over a religious conversion agenda. "Several speeches were given in the meeting. So far, we have not received any complaints," DCP said.
"Police were deployed on the day of the meeting to avoid any untoward incident. We also kept a watch on social media," DCP said.
