Eighteen members of three families have reconverted to their original faith in Uttar Pradesh. They had embraced Islam some fifteen years ago. They embraced the Hindu religion in the famous Suraj Kund Temple located in Kandhla village.
Shahzad and his family decided to reconvert to the original faith. Accordingly, Shahzad changed his name to Vikas. He performed Yadnya in the temple along with his family members. His two brothers and mother also reconverted to the Hindu faith. However, his father refused to reconvert. His mother said that she and other family members will convince him for their reconversion in the future, Lokmat reported.
The priest who performed the reconversion ritual said that many people leaving the Hindu faith nowadays. Still, after experiencing the culture in that religion, the people now started reconverting to the Hindu faith.
