UP Police book a pastor & five suspects over forced conversion allegations

An issue of conversion by Christian missionaries has become more intense in Shahnawajpur and surrounding areas in Uttar Pradesh. A case has been registered against a pastor belonging to Delhi and five other people after a former village head complained in the police station about alleged conversion activities. After the complaint, ADM and ASP reached the village and inquired about the incident, Amar Ujala reported.

Former head of the village alleged that some Christian missionaries converted the villagers by giving them some money. He also made a video exposing Christian missionary's conversion activities in the village. The video got viral on social media. As a result, some members of Hindu organizations also reached the village.
The police said that they have registered the case, and it is under investigation.
