Christian missionary arrested for inciting conversion in Haryana

Haryana Police arrested a Christian missionary after complaints received from people working in the emergency department of Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, located in Kachhwa town in Karnal. The missionary was forcing them to leave Hinduism and convert to Christianity. A case has been registered against him at the Civil Lines Police Station.

Neelu, the Security Supervisor of Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, said that information was received from the relatives of some patients that someone in the emergency department was instigating people to leave the Hindu religion and convert to Christianity. The person distributed pamphlets to the people in support of it. The person told them that if you leave Hinduism and adopt Christianity, then Lord Jesus will give you salvation soon. When this information was given to the police, the police arrested the accused person, Amar Ujala reported.
