Orthodox Church opposes Kerala's Covid policy

Malankara Jacobite Syriac Orthodox Church has opposed the Covid policy of the Kerala Government. According to the new policy, people must carry vaccination certificates or negative RT-PCR test results to visit shops in containment area, The New Indian Express reported.

Geevarghese Mor Coorilos, Metropolitan of Niranam Diocese of Malankara Jacobite Syriac Orthodox Church, called the rules impractical and wondered whether no one in the 'expert committee' members had taken a 'common sense vaccine'.
