District Court has dismissed the plea of the accused arrested under forced religious conversion allegations in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. The case was registered against the accused of defaming the Hindu deities and propagating the Bible verses among the villagers.
Live Hindustan reported that the villagers alleged that the accused forced some villagers to embraced Christianity. He had also offered them a bribe of rupees five hundred. When some villagers opposed his offer, he had made racial remarks.
The court rejected the bail plea after listening to both parties.
