Sikh airport staff can carry kirpans: BCAS

New Delhi, Mar 15: Sikhs working at airports in India, mainly in Punjab and Chandigarh, will continue to be allowed to take a small kirpan with them at these high security installations.

While updating its circulars, the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) on March 4 issued an amended one that inadvertently withdrew this exception.
