Police arrest a maulvi and team for converting hundreds of tribals

Gujarat Police arrested a maulvi, including fourteen other suspects, for converting more than a hundred tribal people to Islam. They have converted more than a hundred members of 37 tribal Hindu families in the Bharuch district of Gujarat.
Bharuch Conversion 
All the accused have been arrested over forced religious conversion allegations. Bharuch Police has registered a case under section 4 of the Freedom for Religion Act and sections 120 (b), 153 (b) (c), and 506 (2). Gujarat High Court rejected the bail plea of an Islamic cleric named Waryawa Abdul Wahab Mahmood in this case.
