Hundreds of Muslims vandalize temple, but court finds only 22 guilty

A Pakistani court has sentenced only 22 Muslims to five years in jail each for vandalizing a Hindu temple in Punjab province in July 2021. In a viral video, it had been seen that more than a hundred people attacked the Ganesh Mandir temple in Bhong city, Rahim Yar Khan District. However, only 22 suspects were found guilty, and the remaining 65 were released. The temple was located some 590 km from Lahore.
