Infamous Christian Pastor Bajinder Singh, who has converted thousands of Sikhs to Christianity by alleged fraud and superstition, has cancelled his programme in Mumbai amidst opposition from the Sikh community. Members of the Sikh community have met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and submitted the memorandum against the event organized at the BKC premises in Mumbai. The event was held on May 12, but that was not conducted. The Sikh delegation met Governor Koshyari on May 11.
Pastor Bajinder Singh has faced a number of serious allegations. He is also accused of abusing an eight-year-old girl. People have criticized Pastor Bajinder for his superstitious claims. Several cases have also been registered against Pastor Bajinder.
"Society needs to raise its voice against this. The Governor has given a statement in this regard, and it is expected that he will take appropriate action", said Satnam Singh Bajwa, General Secretary of Maharashtra Tank Lorry Association.
