Twelve Sikh delegations present memorandums to Delhi LG

S Balvinder Singh Preseident Sikh Progressive Front along with S Manjit Singh Vice President, S Rajinder Singh AEE Joint Srecretary S Janak Singh Retd AEE, while addressing the media shared the detail received under RTI whereby it is stated that 10 Sikh Delegations from JKUT and two Prominent Sikh Delegations from Delhi met Honourable LG during the 2021 and 2022, and submitted the memorandum of demands pertaining to Sikh Community which are pending with the different authorities as well as Honourable LG’s Secretariat.
Sikh deligations 
Mr Singh gave the details of long pending demands which includes; inclusion of Punjabi Language in JKUT official Language Bill 2020 which was the common demand of almost all the deputations as well of the whole Sikh Community of JKUT. Besides this other major demands put forward were ; inclusion of Sikh youth of Valley in PM’s Special employment package under non- migrant category by amending SRO-425, inclusion of Sikh member in the JK PSC, release of due compensation to the NOK’s of 14 persons killed in 1989 riots in Jammu, the case file of which is lying in GAD since long, inclusion of Sikh students in the order issued by AICTE for granting concessions to the wards of migrant and non- migrant Kashmiri pundits, in the admission of professional colleges throughout the country, drafting of rules and implementation of Anand Marriage Act 2012, installation of the Statue of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur at Kunjwani Chowk.
