'Christian pastors misled and forced to convert'

Some 45 Sikh families who were converted to Christianity have been returned to their original faith in Punjab. They claimed that they were misled by Christian pastors and churches and forced to convert to Christianity.
Sikh Conversion 
The Dharm Prachar Committee Punjab started a religion awareness movement formed by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee on August 3, 2022. The Chairman of Dharma Prachar Committee, Mr. Manjit Singh Bhoma, along with his team and Sikh preachers, went from village to village in the border areas and launched a campaign against forced conversion, as a result of which 12 Sikh families re-converted to Sikhism on August 28. Under this series, a 14-year-old Amritdhari girl from village Jaini of Pathankot district, who was forcibly converted, returned to Sikhism on September 9, Punjab News Express reported.
