Police book two suspects over charges of forced conversion to Christianity

Police registered a case against two Christians who allegedly assaulted and pressured a victim named Nandlal Saroj to convert to Christianity. The incident took place on February 1, 2023, in the Kaushambi district in Uttar Pradesh.

According to a report, police said here that Nandlal Saroj (28), a resident of Saraswa village under the Maheva Ghat police station area of Kaushambi district, alleged that on January 24, Santalal and Ramchandra, residents of West Sarira village, came to his house and offered financial help. They lured him and then forced him to accept Christianity.
 
The victim allegedly took a house that belonged to Santlal. The victim was forced to adopt Christianity and beaten up for refusing to convert. After the incident, Nandlal Saroj filed approached the police and filed the case. Accordingly, police booked the two suspects and started the investigation.
