Report claims Buddhist monuments in Odisha are on the verge of extinction

A report published by Kalinga TV claimed that Buddhist monuments in Odisha's Jajpur district are on the verge of extinction. It claimed that due to lack of maintenance, these precious monuments and sites are on the verge of extinction.

According to the historical records, Chinese Buddhist monk, scholar, and traveller Hiuen Tsang visited India in the 7th century and propagated Buddhism in various places in Odisha. Many of them are located in the Jajpur district.
