Islamists censure a Pakistani cricketer for wishing on the Holi festival

Pakistani cricketer Shahnawaz Dahani has been fiercely criticized by Islamists for wishing on the Hindu festival Holi. Many fundamentalists wrote abusive words in the comment box.
On March 7, 2023, Dahani wrote, "To all the lovely people around the world who believe in love, peace, happiness, colors and celebration. Happy Holi to you."
While criticizing Dahani, one Islamist wrote that it is haram in Islam to wish on Holi, and it is a crime according to Islam.
Another one wrote, "a Muslim cannot wish non-Muslims on any festival."
