Muslim woman forces her Hindu husband to convert to Islam

A case of forced conversion to Islam has surfaced in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. A Muslim woman who married a Hindu man forced him to convert to Islam. Both married three months ago after their friendship.
On March 30, the Hindi portal Janasatta reported that 26-year-old Ajay Singh alleged that his newly married wife Muskaan and her parents forced him to embrace Islam. Victim Ajay Singh told Aligarh Police that Muskaan threatened him that she would commit suicide if Ajay refused to convert.
Aligarh Police registered a case against Muskan, her father, mother and brother and initiated the investigation. The case has been registered under a law against unlawful conversion and sections 295 A and 298 for purposefully insulting the victim's religious faith.
